University of the Philippines outplayed defending champ De La Salle University, 73-65, in Game One of their best-of-3 Finals rematch series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
The Fighting Maroons thus snapped a 4-game skid against the Green Archers including the first two in last year's Big Dance.
Quentin Millora-Brown grabbed a career-best 17 points on top of nine rebounds to lead the Maroons, who look to finish the series on Wednesday.

00:00For me it's just about working hard every day. I think that we had a great game plan going into the game and obviously they started out really well and we just had to come home with it.
00:15We found a way to get it done at the end of the day so that's really a wrap. We just have to find a way.
00:22I'm thankful to my teammates for responding to our scrims and our offense and defense.
00:49After this game, we'll come back and review our offense and defense.
