00:00The Hollywood hip-hop blockbuster dance film Step Up is coming to Dubai bringing its high

00:15octane hip-hop dance moves to fans in the region in a show called Step Up Dubai All

00:20In at Motiongate Dubai.

00:23Step Up is a film series that's all about hip-hop and romance.

00:26So you have dancers and then you have a storyline that's woven around it.

00:30It's amazingly age appropriate for all ages.

00:32So children like it because of the dancing, teenagers like it because of the love story,

00:36older people like it also because of the love story and the chemistry that comes from the

00:41teen feel that it has.

00:43So it's got something for everybody.

00:45This is the first time ever that we've brought the film version, you know, what has been

00:50on the big screen to the live stage.

00:52And that's a huge transition, adapting all of that to the live stage is tricky.

00:58The story of Step Up Dubai All In is basically a dance crew here in Dubai going to the Middle

01:04East Dance Championship.

01:05So we had to make it international just like Dubai is.

01:07So that's why we have so many different nationalities in the show.

01:11We actually have different nationalities that play the same role.

01:14So one day you can see the role played by someone from Japan, the next day you can see

01:17it played by someone from Ukraine.

01:18So it's got a very non-specific vibe to it, just like Dubai.

01:23Hosted inside Motiongate Dubai's 1,000-seat Hollywood Theatre, the show features performers

01:28recruited from around the world.

01:33There's lots of dancing, there's a lot of singing as well, as well as acrobat.

01:38Tramp work, stunt work.

01:40In a sneak peek preview, dancers showcased various acrobatic moves, backflips and break

01:46dancing dance-offs.

01:48This is the first of a series of action-packed shows Motiongate Dubai will release over the

01:59coming weeks.
