00:48And that is a young, athletic, one-on-one basketball playing team in the Rockets.

01:42But the one thing I was saying yesterday was, you've got to take into account what he could

01:48be a few years down the line.

01:50And then obviously last night, that's the best game that I can remember him playing.

01:56But to me, more important, that's the best game that Wiggins and Kaminga have played

02:01together in a while.

02:04Like both those guys were really good.

02:07Both those guys were the best players on the Warriors last night.

02:11And the reality is, both those guys carried him the night.

02:14Carried him for the entire game.

02:16And go ahead.

02:17It was just a hell of a game and a hell of a performance by those two guys.

02:53And I'm not saying you're going to get that Kaminga, but good God, partner, how can the

02:57Warriors collectively take that performance, it's one game, between those two, and take

03:04it into tonight to where Kaminga could feel that, what word am I looking for, that freedom

03:10or play that way with the opportunities maybe that are not going to be there in abundance.

03:17So that's, I don't want to bring the party down because I'm not, but that's the key.

03:22And Steph's playing tonight, Norm and I and Evan and you will be there, but I'm just wondering

03:26how do you bottle that up to where moving forward, that's the guy that you know what

03:33you saw last night.

03:35You got to get 30 minutes good or bad.

03:37I mean, obviously Kaminga's not going to have that kind of game all the time, but if his

03:44approach is like that all the time, then you got to believe that he's going to have more

03:51success in those situations.

03:53Can you define approach real quick for me?

03:56He took what the defense gave him, he, the threes he took were, he did, he made some

04:03nice passes by keeping it simple and hitting the open man.

04:08And I mean, you could just tell by the way Curry and Draymond were reacting from the

04:11bench that the way Kaminga played last night was at a different level than he's played

04:1695% of his career.

04:20And I thought they were going to blow it.

04:22I got to share that with you, but see, missed a shot, kind of was a bad miss.

04:29And then I was like, oh, here come the Rockets.

04:31You can't lose this.

04:32And they didn't, man.

04:34Well, but this is kind of what I was thinking about with Denver.

04:37I was telling Nahiga in this yesterday, I was like, the Nuggets or Rockets, the Nuggets.

04:42So the Warriors played 43 good minutes against the Nuggets and they let it slip away in,

04:47in the last five minutes.

04:49But they played well against the Nuggets.

04:52They didn't finish it.

04:54And I think as a, as fans, sometimes we have a tendency to say, well, ah, the first 43

04:59minutes doesn't matter.

05:00They blew it.

05:01And it's an L.

05:02Yeah.

05:03But I remember thinking yesterday and saying like, okay, but if you play 43 minutes like

05:07that again tonight and you're better in the last five minutes, then you're going to win

05:11the game tonight.

05:12And so that's where, just because you start playing well, doesn't necessarily mean you're

05:16going to win every single game.

05:18But if you start playing like you've, you played the last two nights, you're going to

05:23win games.

05:24You're going to win more games.

05:26And that game last night was a game where they won because they were playing really

05:31hard.

05:32They were scrappy.

05:33And then their two forwards, Wiggins and Kaminga were, they brought it home.

05:38They closed the game.

05:39Particularly Kaminga.

05:40And they defended, Stoney.

05:41They did it on both ends.

05:42Yeah, they did.

05:43They did.

05:44And, and you're right.

05:45Nobody's here to bring the party down.

05:48But the reality of the NBA is you got a game tonight.

05:52And the chef will be back.

05:54And Draymond may be back.

05:56So now we get back into Kaminga played a season high minutes last night.

06:03He had 33.

06:04He was terrific.

06:06Okay.

06:07But now we got Steph coming back.

06:09And more importantly for Kaminga, we got Draymond coming back.

06:13So how does Steve Kerr keep Kaminga in the fold for as long as, you know, if 30 minutes

06:20is the goal, can he get 30 minutes if Draymond Green's on the floor and healthy?

06:24It's fascinating.

06:25I don't know.

06:26And it's a key, Stoney.

07:07be able to feel whatever he was feeling, that burden that felt like it was lifted off of

07:13him and the ball was finding him.

07:15His teammates were, they needed him.

07:18And it was beautiful to watch.

07:19But also Kavon Looney, Stoney, he has Shingun.

07:23He made it difficult.

07:24He's got bricks in his pocket.

07:26He started the game and I loved it all.

07:29And ask me real quick, the best component of this Warrior team through 21 games.

07:33Ask me what it is.

07:35What's the best component of this Warriors team?

07:37Their team defense, Stoney.

07:39And that was on display last night, man.

07:42And again, that was not against a scrub team or unathletic team.

07:46They were getting after it and made the rockets.

07:50It was hard.

07:51And the rockets came in hot.

07:52And just the last thing to piggyback on Kaminga, he finished that game in Houston in OT and

07:58down in the fourth.

08:00They couldn't do anything with him when they blew that 30-point lead.

08:04So that was, it was a great win, man.

08:06I just think it's interesting and I was part of the discussion yesterday about this team

08:13and they'd lost five in a row and where they go from here.

08:17And it's amazing what one game can do, especially when you win a game against the Houston Rockets

08:24without Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

08:27I mean, let's face it, Warrior fans, we went into that game last night thinking just what

08:35Bob Fitzgerald and Kalenna Azebuki were saying.
