00:27It is higher than the 12.1% or 5.78 million Filipinos in July 2024 and the 11.9% or 5.94

00:36million Filipinos in September 2024.

00:39The National Economic and Development Authority says the underemployed persons are primarily

00:43from the wholesale and retail trade, agriculture, and forestry sectors.

00:49Unemployment, meanwhile, is at 3.9% in October 2024, equivalent to 1.97 million Filipinos.

00:56Calabarzon has the highest unemployment rate, while the Cordillera Administrative Region
