Hi I'm Liz and I'm the Charity Manager at the Thomas Project and today we are
00:06
gathered here because we have Sunbelt Rentals who have donated loads of
00:12
Christmas toys for children who are in need and particularly those that are
00:18
going to Oakwood Special School. We have staff from Oakwood Special School here
00:24
today to take delivery of all these amazing gifts and presents that are
00:28
going to go to the children who are in need in that school and they will be
00:33
able to get those given out in time for Christmas so there'll be a lot of little
00:37
happy children with smiles on their faces because of this lovely donation
00:43
from Sunbelt. We also have with us Patty from Walsall Street Ministry and they go
00:50
out onto the streets and help those who are living on the streets in these cold
00:55
conditions and we have had donations of coats, scarves, hats and socks and those
01:03
donations are going to be taken by Patty to the teams that go out on the streets
01:08
and given to those who are in need of warmth and just to have a bit of love
01:16
and connection with them as well. So we just want to say thank you to everybody
01:21
involved and we also have some more organisations we have DHL and we have
01:27
Dunton who are also donating lots of gifts and for children as well so it's a
01:34
real pleasure for us to be part of all of this.
