Update on The Cotton Works development

Lee Dalgleish, Head of commercial at The Heaton Group  -  Update on The Cotton Works, the transformation of Eckersley Mills, one of Wigan's biggest ever development projects, with Mill One transformation well underway which will feature a food hall, three storeys of office space, co-working space and a rooftop bar surrounded by an outside terrace with fantastic views of Wigan.

00:00Hi, my name's Lee Dalgleish, I'm the Commercial Property Manager for the Heaton Group here in Wigan

00:06and we're up on the top floor of Mill 1 which is part of our development here at Ecclesley Mills

00:14which is now going to be called the Cottonworks. Part of the development consists of an indoor

00:20food hall, a bar area, up to 70,000 square foot of office space along with a rooftop bar

00:29and co-working space. The plans are moving fast forward now, everything's doing really well

00:36and we've got our first tenants that'll take the keys off us next Monday so it's all really

00:42exciting and they'll start their tenancy with us in late March, early April and again as we

00:48continue with the development we'll then move on to Mill 3 and with the leisure buildings as well,

00:55Feast at the Mills will continue and develop

00:58and hopefully we're going to bring a fantastic destination to everybody here in Wigan.
