We're at capacity, just like all the rescue centres up and down the country.
00:06
So we'll have, we'll be completely full, the cat pens and the kennels with dogs and cats.
00:14
So, unfortunately, there will be a lot of dogs and cats that will be here for Christmas,
00:22
but we'll try and make it as nice as possible that they'll still be getting presents,
00:28
that they'll be getting special treats and special food over Christmas.
00:31
So we make it as joyful as it can be, despite them being in a rescue centre.
00:36
We recommend getting pets from rescue centres always.
00:43
We think that, you know, a pet is for life, not just for Christmas.
00:49
So if you're planning on getting a dog or a cat,
00:52
please realise that that's going to be in your life
00:57
or potentially, sometimes with cats, they can live until they're like 22.
01:02
So that's going to be in your life for various years.
01:06
So please plan ahead. Don't just get them for Christmas.
01:10
We don't want the novelty to wear off.
01:12
They should be considered family members.
01:15
And we always recommend rescuing from rescue centres
01:19
because we're full and we have been since the pandemic.
01:23
And unfortunately, breeders are just adding to the surplus of animals.
01:27
So please don't buy from a breeder.
01:30
Please rescue from rescue centres.
