00:00We are encouraging this type of business, as you know, honey, and even it's a special

00:19type, it's a local type that had been also produced here in the UAE.

00:24So we are trying to encourage this type of business, because it's actually even linked

00:30to the nature.

00:31We have like 50 booths, but even the request for the participation was more than that.

00:35It seems that people are now encouraging to go to this business.

00:38Before it was only two types of honey, but actually now we reach to seven types of honey,

00:43depends on the flower itself, so you can see the variety of the quality of the honey here.

00:50The laboratory role is to test and to make sure that the honey in the festival is fulfilling

00:56the GSO standard as a specification of the honey.

01:01We are doing different type of tests, like total sugar, the content of gelicose and fructose,

01:07the percentage of diastase enzyme, and to check that the honey quality is reaching to

01:14the level that the consumer can benefit from it.

01:16Based on the previous history, all are natural, but still we are making sure we are collecting

01:21all samples here to test.

01:23As I told you just now, anything that will not be within the scope, it will be excluded

01:27from the festival.

01:28In the UAE, we mainly have cedar, summer, we have from flowers, and we have ghaf.

01:35But they are bringing as well like the beekeepers, like they are doing a great job, and we have

01:41now algerm honey, and different types.

01:44They are trying to find, it's based on the type of tree we have in the UAE.

01:48Every year we are getting so many participation requests to participate in the exhibition.

01:53Because today we are focusing on the festival, and we are doing it in a scientific way, it

01:59gives more confidence for the consumer, so they will buy more.

02:04So everyone is benefiting from this exhibition, since we are fulfilling the scientific way

02:09of testing, and fulfilling the requirement of the end user at the end.

02:14The confidence is the key of empowering this sector.

02:19We are here visiting, and we are at the Honey Festival, and we are really excited to be

02:24here.

02:25Really impressive just looking around.

02:27They do not have in the United States anything that resembles this, so thank you for this

02:32introduction to Dubai and HADA.

02:35At home you know we have one type of honey when you go to the supermarket, it's one type

02:39or the store brand, so this is our first time really seeing all the types of honeys, all

02:45the different bees, and all the flowers as well.

02:47It's a really beautiful event, and we are very fortunate to be here, so thank you for

02:51having us, and it's really quite incredible to see everything.

02:55We send two or three types of honey to London Honey Show.

03:00We are from UAE, Emirates.

03:03We won, alhamdulillah, from the Cedar Emirati and the Summer Emirati.

03:09We won the Paris or the Platinum in the London Honey Show competition.

03:15We won also the Talha al-Bari, the competition in the London Honey Show.

03:20We have very different types.

03:22We have something very rare, and we have something normal, and we are, our farm is producing

03:27the cedar and the summer mainly, and the gulf honeys.

03:31Also now we can see here something is very rare, this is the leban, it's very important,

03:38and it has cortisol, this is new information, not available in any other honey.

03:44Cortisol in the honey.

03:46And also we have cedar and summer, this is very famous and they know, this is the gum

03:52honey, it's even from Oman also.

03:56The white honey, we are bringing from outside, but it's coming this color, but after they're

04:01preparing in the factories and mix it with this special producing, it become like this

04:07color.

04:08Also, we have fruits honey, this is like a white honey mixed with the raspberry only.

04:17We can replace it with the jam, normal jam for the breakfast, for the kids, for the schools,

04:23something like this.

04:25Also gulf, this is the national honey for UAE, you know the gulf honey, this trees is

04:32the local trees, and it's owned by the rules, and this honey has special things, it has

04:40a little bit of the protein, which any other honey they don't have it, it's only this kind

04:46of the honey of the gulf, and it's very famous, and it's very healthy to use, and very sweet.
