Bears guard Teven Jenkins describes some of the changes interim coach Thomas Brown has brought to the team after just one practice.

00:00Yeah, I love, I love, I love him, but I feel like that the first point he just said,

00:05yeah, it was very good, yeah.

00:06Very deliberate on how he talks to us.

00:10I mean, like everything he's like telling us right now is very intentful.

00:14And we're all of us are very locked in, everybody,

00:16you see everybody sitting in front of their seats, leaning in.

00:20So you can see that somebody's actually attentive.

00:22And you can see that everybody in the whole team room right now is very

00:27focused about getting back to who we are as a team.

00:32And trying to eliminate what happened in these past few weeks.

00:35And even when TV was saying, we're having a talented team.

00:39But you get your skill set every day, you work on it.

00:45So everybody has talent in the NFL, it's about what you do with your skills.

00:48So that's one thing we're gonna have back.

00:50We have to, he's a big emphasis on game reps, he's been in practice as well.

00:56And so it starts off with off its own sideline, where he builds a team.

01:00You have to run on the field, act like it's, sorry, I touched on it.

01:03But you have to act like it's a game rep,

01:04that's like you're coming from the sideline to get an off.

01:07Defense comes on, scout team goes off to the sideline, everything.

01:10And even with rotations, you gotta sprint off the field.

01:13And then after a while, you wanna get some more guys to break.

01:16So you sprint off the field, sprint back on for another play, all that.

01:19And that's just some things that are small, but

01:23it actually does make a difference in the mental preparation.

01:26He has a lot of great points when it comes to stuff like that.

01:31And I agree with all of it, I'm very excited to see what we do.
