00:00Hi, I'm Tash. I'm a lived experience peer worker at Project Youth.

00:05Before this, I was 16 and experiencing homelessness.

00:09I didn't know about Project Youth, where to go,

00:12or who I could talk to about what was going on.

00:14That's why, in conjunction with six other peer workers,

00:18we've created CompassPoint.

00:20CompassPoint is all about providing that information, advice

00:23and guidance to young people when they're finding it hard

00:26to navigate the system.

00:28It's really scary and confusing trying to find out where to go

00:31and how you can get help, and with the help of other peer workers

00:34who have the understanding and have had similar situations,

00:37we want to be there to help you and to help other young people

00:41who may be experiencing these challenges.
