Andy Cohen is speaking out about the recent decision to reboot “Vanderpump Rules” with an all-new cast for season 12.

00:05So on his radio show, he basically agrees with his network's decision in gutting the

00:11This is, first of all, the absolute right thing to do.

00:15He believes the show kind of veered away from what we've talked about, you know, being filmed

00:19at Sur and being centered around people that work at Lisa's restaurant.

00:23What you were left with was really just a few pieces of what the original Vanderpump

00:29Rules was, so I think this is a very smart programming move.

00:34Well, it's a good decision because the show's not doing well, and they're re-energizing

00:38the show.

00:39And they actually need some diversity.

00:40Diversity would help the show.

00:42Sexual orientation.

00:43Do you think in a restaurant in WeHo there's not one gay guy that's on the show?

00:48What I'm saying, at Sur, all the people featured are straight, right?

00:50Yeah.

00:51That is weird.

00:52It just feels blasphemous not to have a gay character at a restaurant in West Hollywood.
