00:00To those looking for jobs abroad,
00:02job opportunities are everywhere in different industries in Europe and Japan.
00:08First up, we have Dano Tingcunco.
00:13Healthcare, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, household service, and more.
00:19These are just a few of the jobs waiting for people in different countries in Europe.
00:23Now in demand, Filipino migrant workers there,
00:26according to the November 2024 Overseas Labor Market Situationner of the DMW.
00:32In Hungary, for example, there is a demand for professional nurses
00:35with B1 Hungarian language proficiency.
00:39Demand is also higher in Austria now for qualified migrant workers.
00:44There are also job openings in the Czech Republic,
00:46Germany, Romania, Finland, Slovenia, and Croatia.
00:50We do not create the demand for ourselves,
00:52so the demand created by them compels us, should I say, to talk to the host countries.
00:58That brought us to Central and Eastern Europe where we know for sure that employers there
01:04are only too happy and willing to engage Filipino workers.
01:09There are also jobs in Asia.
01:12Like in Japan, where more than 800,000 foreign workers have been hired
01:17under the Specified Skilled Worker Visa.
01:20There are also opportunities for Filipinos to enter Japan
01:24under the Technical Intern Training Program.
01:27According to the DMW, Japan remains a suitable labor market for Filipinos
01:32due to safety and stability and strict and fair labor laws.
01:37Japan and countries in Europe are among the first to meet the
01:40first edition of the Overseas Labor Market Situationner launched by the DMW.
01:45The Overseas Labor Market Situationner's plan to launch the DMW is quarterly
01:50and can be read on their social media and website.
01:53The agency reminds those who are interested to apply,
01:56not to fall for job offers on social media
01:59and to consult with the DMW itself so as not to be fooled.
02:04And be careful with the lack of announcements, of course.
02:06This will go the way of safe and ethical legal recruitment.
02:11We'll look into all of these things.
02:12Regulation in the name of safety and ethical recruitment of our work protection.
02:17The announcement of other countries is very clear when it comes to placement fee.
02:21Austria has no placement fee. Finland has no placement fee.
02:26And many other countries, we promise to publish this list,
02:32updated list of no placement fee.
02:34And one of them, our traditional marketing,
02:38we signed a joint statement with Qatar.
02:41This is the first news I brought for GMA Integrated News.
