Of course, the "Y.M.C.A." has been top of mind lately due to President-elect Donald Trump's frequent use of the song on the campaign trail ... which Victor said he was fine with it since Trump seems to be a genuine fan of the track.

00:00When Donald Trump started using the song, a lot of people decided to try to basically

00:08defame him by saying, hey, doesn't he know that that's a gay anthem or whatever?

00:15But Donald Trump didn't, he didn't stop using it, he just said, I mean, he knows the song,

00:19he just likes the song.

00:21You decided, you're just letting him do it at this point, right?

00:24Yeah, yeah.

00:25And I decided, you know, I decided at one point I stopped him from doing it, but then

00:31I asked him to stop, but he had what they call a political use license to use YMCA.

00:39And other than me having to have my wife go to BMI and put a stop to it, he had every

00:45right he wanted to use it, and that's what they did.

00:49And then at a certain point, I noticed a lot of artists were stopping him from using their

00:54songs.

00:55But then I said, you know, I told my wife, I said, hey, you know, it seems like he actually

01:00likes the song, that he actually seems like he's having a lot of fun with it.

01:05So, you know, I didn't, I just said, well, don't, don't even, don't even stop him, just

01:08let him just, you know, he likes the song.

01:11It's not like he's politicizing it, he just likes the song.

01:17So I decided to let him just go ahead and do what he did with the song, and it's actually

01:22helped the song quite a bit.

01:23There's been a lot of things that have come out.

01:25It's really, oh, it has helped.

01:27Sure, the way it's had the resurgence on the charts.
