03:37Oh, Brock Purdy's a great guy.

03:41So is Steph Curry.

03:46And on the one hand, I think that Brock Purdy will be reasonable.

03:52On the other hand, I'm thinking he's just watched everybody get paid

04:04So if I'm Brock Purdy, I'm saying, yeah, now I want to get paid.

04:09But do you open your coaching staff and your team up?

04:12Do you open up Pandora's Box to where if they can get a Sam Darnold in here?

04:17Like, if I were to ask you right now, just no shade,

04:20who would you want right now quarterbacking your team, Purdy or Darnold?

04:24I would actually want Purdy.

04:26Okay, but I understand now that I wouldn't be mad at any answer.

04:30Like, I'm sure there's some that would say Darnold,

04:32and it wouldn't be a diss to Purdy.

04:36But like Brock Purdy can be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

04:39Right, but how much of, again, what's the number?

04:43And then what's his number that he has?

04:45What would another team pay him?

04:46I don't know.

04:47I bet you another team would pay him $35, $40.

04:49But I believe that would have been $60 last year had you got that Brock Purdy.

04:52Well, it's a good thing you didn't have to pay him last year.

04:54And it's like when you have a house, it doesn't matter what the house's value is right now.

05:02It matters what the value of the house is when you sell it.

05:06But the issue is, who cares what Brock Purdy might have been worth

05:11before he played a game this year?

05:13He wasn't up for a contract extension.

05:21And again, Purdy's probably going to get it out of your right,

05:25But what if there was to be another move to where Kyle could get what he deems something

05:30a little more experienced and better or talented?

07:26And going forward, what kind of starter is he going to be?

07:30Is he going to be a Daniel Jones, a Baker Mayfield,

07:35or can we get more of what he was?

07:38I just don't know what we can expect from him.

07:41So it just kind of makes it hard.

07:44One last thing.

07:46I was watching that game,

07:47and I was just waiting for the moment for the ball to slip out of his hands

07:51like it did.

07:52I knew it was coming.

07:53And when it happened, I wasn't surprised.

07:55Like I said, he's showing a lot of his flaws and limitations.

08:00And I don't know if he's going to be that blockbuster quarterback.

08:03I want him to bounce back and show that he's everything that we thought

08:08and that we saw from him.

08:09But he really hasn't adjusted to the challenges that he's seen this year.

08:15And one thing that I did see from him,

08:18even during that time when we had that run where we were doing real well with him,

08:23is that against elite defenses, against those really good defenses,

08:27he kind of struggled.

08:28He kind of struggled.

08:29He wasn't able to excel.

08:31Against some of these other B teams, maybe even B-plus teams,

08:36he looked good.

08:37But against those A defenses, he struggled.

08:40So it's too much of a question mark.
