00:43In an Instagram post, Parvez wrote, this lady was harassing her son on the flight unbeknownst

00:49to us, asking him if he was Indian and making comments.

03:23Pointing out that only one person supported them, Parvez Taufiq's wife Nicole wrote on

03:31The silence from the majority, people who could have chosen to stand for decency, was

03:37She also wrote,

03:38Our son was struggling to understand her unwarranted and abhorrent behaviour.

03:42Parvez and I tried to explain racism to him in a way he could grasp.
