Coventry foodbank is appealing for support to help meet increasing demand through a new fun five-part Micro Musical, filmed in collaboration with two local professional singers.

00:00In the city of Cov, where the lights are bright, there's a story to tell of people's plight.

00:12While there's plenty to go round, not all have a bite.

00:14People are going to bed hungry and that's just not right.

00:16So call Foodbite, try to help and stand in the gap.

00:18Give emergency food passes to help ASAP.

00:21And behind the scenes, an army of helping hands.

00:23To keep the clock turning and keep up with demand.

00:25Answering phones, driving vans, picking packs, sorting cans.

00:27Invisible processes before the food can land.

00:29You might not see it, but it's there.

00:30People giving up their time to help a neighbour, help a stranger,

00:32enable food upon the table.

00:34So let us share our stories of what's brought us here.

00:36Caring and sharing the love throughout the years.

00:38So many jobs to do, but when we work together,

00:40we see people's lives start and start to get better.

00:46Coventry Foodbank is currently supporting 500 people each week.
