Pope lauds Brook century as England fight back against New Zealand

England's Ollie Pope says team-mate Harry Brook is a joy to watch, as he scores a century against New Zealand.

00:00Very pleasing to put together a partnership with Harry Brooke out there.

00:04I think they bowled really well early, some pretty good balls in there and I

00:09think the way Ben Duckett played early on as well it could have been worse too.

00:13So I think from where we are and to where we're finishing the day the boys

00:16are really happy with sort of what's on the scoreboard. He's very good in terms

00:20of he's just stays in his bar, he might hit a great shot and and he's very just

00:25level about it. He kind of is a shot boy and he's like cheers. So yeah it's good

00:31fun and I think the longer you bat together you kind of just have a little

00:34joke in the middle but I think yeah he's good to watch at the other end and he

00:39stays in his bubble very much so but yeah good fun to bat with.

00:43I thought Harry Brooke and Ollie Pope batted really well through the middle there as that ball

00:46got a little bit softer it got a little bit easier to bat. Yeah those two boys

00:50batted really well you know we gained a few chances but they capitalised and

00:54batted really well.
