00:00One of those lightning rod teams this season is the Indiana Hoosiers, currently sitting

00:10in the college football rankings.

00:11If the season ended today, they would be in.

00:14And quite frankly, they are going to get in.

00:16They played Purdue to end the season here as the battle of the state of Indiana.

00:21They're not going to play in the Big Ten championship game, so they can't have a second loss.

00:26They're the product of unbelievably schedules, unbelievable scheduling here.

00:30If you look at that graphic that just posted up, the record, 10-1 on the season, to win,

00:35granted, look at this, to win the Big Ten with one loss, 350-1, to make the college

00:41football playoff, minus 3,000, to win it all, 50-1, 10-1 on the season, but 50-1 to win

00:49the championship here in college football.

00:52Before we get into it, Dubsie, Ben and I had an awesome, awesome exchange on Monday's

00:56show about the thought process of what we think about Indiana.

00:59His thought process was, Indiana deserves to be in the playoff, which I agree with,

01:03and Indiana would still be in the playoff if they played in any other conference or

01:07any other schedule, which is what I disagreed with.

01:10What is your take on the Indiana Hoosiers being 10th in the country in the playoff rankings

01:14at 10-1, and your outlook for the Indiana Hoosiers moving forward?

01:19I mean, these numbers explain my outlook.

01:21I'm not buying stock.

01:22I think there's serious flaws in the schedule and what we have seen from that Big Ten play.

01:28So I'm right there with you, Donny.

01:30I'd love to wind you up.

01:31I'd love to get you started here on a happy hump day, but just not seeing it.

01:36And yes, rightfully, they're going to find a way into the college football playoffs,

01:40and it's just a sign of the times and the way it's all set up there.

01:43But no, I couldn't entertain any of those betting markets, and for them to have a chance

01:48of going against the Boilermakers to round things out here, OK, that's fantastic.

01:53But at 10-1, the record speaks for itself.

01:56They've been playing some really good football.

01:58The program has taken a massive leap forward.

02:01Aren't they a top 10 team in the nation?

02:03I don't think so.

02:05I think they should have drifted on the outside of it there.

02:08We heard from the committee after the new rankings dropped, and they're telling us,

02:11well, we saw enough in that loss to Ohio State, 38 to 15.

02:15We saw nothing.

02:16I mean, Ohio State, yes, we know they're one of the power programs in football.

02:21They're a top five side in the nation.

02:23They made Indiana look slow, sluggish, and silly.

02:27They were never in this thing.

02:2838 to 15 was an absolute compliment to the Hoosiers.

02:32That was never a football game.

02:34So, no, I don't think there should be a world in which they can make it through the college

02:37football playoffs the way it's going to end up going.

02:40They're not even playing in the championship game.

02:41So, no, we're seeing it eye to eye, Donny.

02:43I wish we weren't, but, yeah, we're in the same corner for this one.
