Aleteia's Caroline Fischer reminds us that while Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated by all, there are simple ways Catholics can help keep God at the center of Thanksgiving.

00:10And while it may be considered a secular holiday, there are definitely ways to tie in the Catholic

00:15faith.

00:16You may be celebrating with friends and family who might not be Catholic.

00:19There are still some really good ways to make sure God is at the center of Thanksgiving.

00:23If I had to quote the great GK Chesterton, he says that thanks are the highest form

00:29of thought.

00:30I mean, after all, Thanksgiving is a staple form of prayer.

00:33So although it's kind of a bit of a cliche, everyone going around taking turns, just telling

00:38each other what they're thankful for.

00:40I've seen it done where on the napkin, the place setting, there'll be a little prayer

00:44card printed out with a prayer of Thanksgiving.

00:47Going to mass on Thanksgiving is probably honestly the best way to start your day on

00:51Thanksgiving.

00:52If you can gather the troops and get as many friends and family to go with you for mass,

00:57that would be amazing.
