Uganda banned identifying as LGBTQ

Homosexuality was already banned in this African country, but now, there's a new law...

00:00Make sure that homosexuals have no space in Uganda.

00:30Homosexuality is a threat to the human survival, to the human race and what we are discussing

00:58is the preservation of the human race.

01:01There are consequences, but the consequences which are negative will be temporal.

01:07Some people think because we are poor, we can be held at ransom.

01:12Some people who are very vulnerable have surrendered.

01:16The minority reporters you had belongs to people who have surrendered, surrendered the

01:21future of their children, surrendered their country and surrendered everything.

01:25And for anybody who is reasonable to stand here and say that this thing is okay, it's

01:31a human rights to destroy people's innocence.

01:34That person is evil, hell belongs to that person, that person is evil, hell belongs

01:42to that person.

01:43And I can tell you, we will win this race, we will win the race.

01:47Those who believe in it, in their countries, have it there.

01:51In our country, we will have our morals, we will protect our children.

01:55And we are making this law, we are making this law for ourselves, we are making this

02:00law for our children, we are making this law for the children of our children.

02:04This country will stand firm and once it passed, I can tell you Madam Speaker, we are going

02:09to reinforce the law enforcement officers to make sure that homosexuals have no space

02:14in Uganda.

02:16This house will not shy to restrict any right to the extent of the house recognising, that

02:25recognises, protects and safeguards the sovereignty of this country, the morals of this country,

02:35the cultures and will always legislate for our people.

02:41That is what the majority have done today in this house, the 389 members of parliament.
