A bike ride on Delhi streets amid the G20 Summit

Fountains, fancy streetlights and flowers... Brut shows how Delhi transformed for the G20 Summit.

00:00With revamped roads and fancy new street lights, the centre gave Delhi a makeover for the G20

00:19summit.

00:20We're taking you to Lutyens Delhi, one of the most beautiful areas of the city.

00:33It is home to India's President, Prime Minister and MPs.

00:37The new Delhi Municipal Corporation adorned 11 significant roads in this locality with

00:42colourful lights.

00:44These vibrant fountains that you see are an integral part of the makeover.

00:48If one of these lights were to become damaged, the control room would promptly repair them.

01:02The India Gate was decked up in the colours of the national flag and extensive security

01:07measures were put in place in view of the G20 summit.

01:11It is being said that everything from street lights to tree lights is solar powered.

01:18These flowerpots on the road were among the 2.5 lakh flowerpots that were intended to

01:23be planted before the G20 summit.

01:48These people were among the hundreds of NDMC workers working tirelessly around the clock

02:04to ensure proper management in view of the G20 summit.

02:17And now we're heading towards Dhaulakuan.

02:19This area was also renovated as the G20 delegates would pass through this route on their way

02:24to the airport.

02:44From November last year until now, 23 fountains have been installed along the stretch from

02:49Dhaulakuan to Terminal 3 of the airport.

02:52It is being said that these fountains have been supplied with treated water from Delhi
