00:00Once I did something, some scene, a long back actually, 2008 only I guess when I shifted

00:09to Mumbai and then someone asked me, it was a long piece, and then someone asked me can

00:14you do the whole thing like a monkey and I found it very weird but I did it anyways.

00:19Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, somebody scammed me in Delhi, they took around 11,000 rupees from

00:28me, did one photo shoot and exactly like how it happens in films and I went there after

00:33couple of days, there was nothing there, it was locked and then there were couple of people

00:37there who told me, you know, you got scammed.

00:45It is true, I spent almost 6 and hours outside Mannat because I came to the city, actually

00:50the main reason was to see him and to see where he lives and just to feel the city because

00:55I don't know, I think I always wanted to come here and be a film actor one day.

01:02I met him in 2014, we were promoting, I was promoting City Lights and he was shooting

01:09for one of his ads, ad commercials and we were in Mehboob together, we were at Mehboob

01:16and I just told somebody, Shakun Batra actually who was directing his ad that I wanted to

01:22meet him and he was very kind and he called me in, Shah Rukh sir and I was totally mesmerized

01:29of course, the moment I saw him because I have been seeing him as a kid and his posters

01:34and his hoardings and I have got all his articles and his pictures, you know, how you keep it

01:40in a diary, you cut those images from the magazines and to see him actually in person

01:45and for him to be so kind, he knew everything about me, about Shahid and the National Award

01:51and the next film that's coming, I think it was a very special meeting.

02:00Yeah, somebody came for a picture and said, please Varun sir, can I have a picture?

02:04I said, yeah sure, I just want to break his heart.

02:07I just still feel very weird calling people fans, all I can see is love in their eyes

02:11and then how excited they feel and get sometimes and sometimes when they start, you know, sometimes

02:17they start shaking so that makes me feel very weird, you know, I am a nobody, please

02:22don't shake and all, we are okay.

02:29Not a gunda but I was a, I got into a lot of school fights because I think I was also

02:36in martial arts and I was just a brave heart, if somebody would trouble my friends, I would

02:41be the first one to get up and start fighting with those other boys, yeah.

02:48Yeah, stories which I know can maybe spread hatred or divide our society, so those kinds

02:59of stories, I won't do them.

03:05Jayanth is ready to compromise on his moral values and I won't do that, I think that's

03:10the only difference that we have, otherwise it's pretty much a similar thing, you know,

03:15we both come to this, we both had come to this big city with dreams in our eyes and

03:20trying to make it big and we both are successful in our own ways but he is somebody who would,

03:28who is ready to do anything for that success and I am not.
