00:00At the end of the day, I believe that he was executed by the MPD and I want the police

00:29officer that murdered my son to be prosecuted and fired.

01:00They saw a black man reach for his gun, not knowing anything about Amir, and they shot.

01:09I mean, they didn't even give him a chance.

01:12He was still asleep.

01:25They kicked the couch, started him out of his sleep.

01:29You can't kick nothing under me and then expect me to act right.

01:33What are you looking for?

01:34You're looking to incite someone.

01:35You're looking for a reaction.

01:42The officers were approaching.

01:52They were giving commands to show your hands, show your hands.

01:56And as they got close, you can see, along with an individual emerging from under the

02:02blanket, the barrel of a gun.

02:05That's the moment when the officer had to make a split-second decision to assess the

02:09circumstances.

02:10Ultimately, that decision of whether that threshold was met will be examined by the

02:16county attorney's office that reviews this case.

02:19This is what I would call the anatomy of a cover-up.

02:22This is unacceptable.

02:23I'm sorry it is.

02:26When I agreed to work with you on the work group, we talked about the importance of transparency

02:33and accountability.

02:35And here, what we are seeing is business as usual.
