00:00A party and individuals who claim to protect the lives of children just weeks after over

00:07a dozen children died in Texas now claim to support their life.

00:13Every single one of us has woken up today with less rights than we had yesterday.

00:18And with so many individuals out here, I think it's important for us to also tackle this

00:23myth that this is somehow about babies or children or life.

00:30Because the same individuals who purport, claim to be protecting life, fight against

00:42universal health care.

00:45Do they believe in universal child care?

00:48Do they believe in life after birth?

00:54From their policy positions, I assure you, the evidence is lacking.

01:00Who are we protecting?

01:03Who does this protect?

01:09No one.

01:12Overturning Roe puts every single one of us in danger.

01:20And what I think many of our colleagues perhaps haven't quite or perhaps they have fully understood

01:27is that this also undermines the right to privacy in the United States of America.

01:36But we are here to solve this issue.

01:40Our job is to develop a path forward.

01:44And in that, we know that this House has passed and is willing to codify Roe.

01:53But what we also need is answers from our colleagues in the United States Senate.

01:58So to those senators who voted for these justices under the claim and the guise that this would

02:08not happen, this decision falls on them.

02:13What will they do as they were lied to?

02:19What will they do as a consequence of this decision?

02:26Whether that be Republican or Democrat.

02:32But we cannot allow this to go on unanswered.

02:38We are talking about a court with the majority of justices appointed by a party that has

02:45not won a popular presidential election more than once in 30 years.

02:54Ruling against the majority of Americans.

02:58We will not stop fighting until this is fixed.

03:04And I say that to my colleagues on the other side of the aisle.

03:08We are not going away.

03:12We stay.

03:14We fight.

03:17We push.

03:20And we will not be silenced.
