She’s 26, she’s fun, she’s dying ... And she feels like talking about her own death shouldn’t be taboo.  In her latest documentary, Léo Hamelin meets with Danna, who is terminally ill and describes herself as “death positive.”

00:25Wow, beautiful.

00:27Do not say, get well soon, to somebody who is terminally ill.

00:32I mean, that's what it means, is you're not going to get well soon.

00:38I am putting a lot of energy into changing the dialogue around death and dying,

00:46especially for young people.

00:50I want to show you my adult diaper.

00:53I think I make it kind of hot.

00:57It's my reality, and I'm not the only one who has that as a reality.

01:02And we deserve to not feel awkward talking about the thing that we have to wake up and face every day.

01:10Just like you can talk to me about your job or your relationship.

01:14My death is staring me in the face every single morning.
