Her name was Shireen Abu Akleh.   She was a Palestinian-American journalist for Al Jazeera. She was killed while doing her job.

00:20She loved joking, she loved shopping, she had a sweet tooth, that's the Shireen I remember.

00:29Shireen started off as an engineer, she actually finished a whole year, to the best of my knowledge,

00:35at the University in Jordan, studying engineering.

00:39Although she was a very smart student, she said that wasn't her passion, her heart was

00:44not there, she wanted to be close to people, she loved stories, she loved people, she loved

00:49to be close to them, so she switched majors and she studied journalism.

00:59She was someone who was always eager to learn, although we would all want to learn from

01:27her.

01:54This is a day where we should all be marking, including everyone there, the memory of a

01:58remarkable journalist who lost her life.
