A lot of people would rather be with our family right now in Ukraine and just hold their hand
00:05
and just hug them and, you know, just be with them.
00:20
These are all done.
00:21
They are waiting to be shipped out.
00:23
Yesterday, we had this whole entire section being, like, filled with boxes.
00:34
You are in one of our biggest warehouses.
00:38
All of our life are just being put on hold and our thoughts and our, you know, souls
00:42
and our hearts in Ukraine.
00:44
That's why, probably, we kind of started it, just for us to feel that we do something.
00:54
So, like, hospital needs insulin, so people bring us insulin and, you know, during the
01:06
war, it's very important.
01:08
Then, of course, we have other donations like food, baby formulas, clothing, and also providing
01:18
financial assistance and monetary assistance right now for the people of Ukraine.
01:32
It's like radios, drones.
01:35
We have, like, caskets and, of course, like, the clothing, like the army clothing and,
01:40
like, everything that has to do with, like, army equipment, like army shoes.
01:45
Now, in terms of, like, the medicine, everything needed from the front lines, so starting with,
01:49
like, antiseptics and ending with medications for, like, the frontline soldiers.
01:56
They are outmanned, outgunned, and the equipment, they are missing some of the equipment as
02:02
well.
02:03
So, if we can know that whatever we're collecting here, we're sending out, and ensuring they're
02:09
receiving it, can save at least one life, that's what, that's the hope that we live with.
02:16
Every day, I'm getting requests and getting photos with the guys who sent us from there,
02:24
from the war.
02:25
They say that you are the best and they can, you save our lives.
02:33
She's a doctor and a pharmacist, so that's what we're doing here.
02:54
So we're working very closely with organizations like MIST and Novoposhta that are, like, providing
03:02
an opportunity for us to send this out via planes.
03:05
It's every other day that the plane leaves from here, from United States, from New Jersey,
03:11
and it goes to Poland.
03:12
And then from Poland, there is a corridor that the stuff that they are receiving is
03:18
getting imported into the western part of Ukraine.
03:21
We started working closely with, like, the Ukrainian National Train Services to ensure
03:27
that while it's en route, it's not going to be intercepted by Russian forces.
03:43
I'm Georgian, but I feel like everyone is Ukrainian today.
03:48
All these donations are mostly for the new moms, because I have a son, a four-year-old,
03:52
so I'm a mom also, so I feel like new moms also need support.
03:57
So this is just a little something for the new moms and the kids in Ukraine.
04:01
Whether they're Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, we're open to anyone.
04:06
I couldn't help but notice your nails.
04:09
Is this for Ukraine?
04:10
Yes, I actually did it, like, last week, I believe.
04:15
Yeah, it's just, you know, some small, small gesture.
04:21
Yeah, it's just, you know, in recent weeks, Ukrainian flag and Ukrainian color are all
04:29
around, you know, New York and, like, all around the different cities in the entire
04:34
world, and it's just so beautiful to see how our flag, our beautiful colors, yellow and
04:42
blue, how they are all around the world.
04:51
This is all started out with only four individuals, and from there, we have decided to unite all
04:59
of our efforts together, starting out with, like, local level here in Brooklyn, New York,
05:05
and throughout a week or so, it has grown into this organization that we are right now
05:11
with over 500 loyal members and volunteers.
05:20
It's interesting how the life can shift in just one second, you know, and one day you're
05:30
going, you're living one life and just, like, in, you know, in another second, completely
05:37
different one.
05:38
Looking at people in Ukraine, we get so inspired by how each of them are willing to sacrifice
05:45
their life to protect their country, their land, and their freedom.
05:49
We cannot give up, and we cannot, like, even look back and think about our past lives.
