00:03Whether they found it or not, it's there.

00:19Confidence can make anyone sexy.

00:21If you rock who you are and own that walking into a room,

00:24there's nothing cooler than that.

00:31Barbadians are proud people, you know?

00:34We are probably the proudest people I know.

00:38And no matter where I go in the world, I take that pride with me.

00:52I always said before, by 18, by the time I'm 18,

00:56I want to be a singer. If not, forget it.

01:27It was the longest 12 hours of my life.

01:29I was just waiting downstairs and I was like,

01:31get the contract on here, I want to sing, I want to sing.

01:51Such a great album, it has such a way for it to get tight songs

01:54and tempos that are going to be played.

01:56The tempos, the ballads, the old school lovers rock reggae.

02:00It's a great album.

02:24Everything I knew switched, switched in a night.

02:52It was hard for me to even pay attention to my mind

02:56and figuring things out because now it became a circus.

03:17The first day in, I was already shooting a scene,

03:20saying lines that were never a part of the script.

03:23So I didn't have a chance to really even get past the nerves.

03:26It was just right in and in that way, it was incredible.

03:43If they're famous and I'm single,

03:47it's an automatic, automatic, they're on, they're dating.

03:53And I hate that. I don't even want to date. I'm single.

03:57Nobody's exempt from disease and poverty.

04:16And, you know, you just never know.

04:19But we will fight for you the same way.

04:28I've always known about the void within the makeup industry for women of color.

04:46It's 2017. No woman should ever walk up to a makeup counter and not find their shade.

04:57My mission is just to have women all over the world feel comfortable and sexy

05:07and have fun with lingerie.

05:09All the different body types, all the different women

05:11and different stages of their womanhood.

05:27I want black women to look at every achievement that I've made as hope,

05:41as a place that they can see, a template where they can see themselves.

05:49So when we're marching and protesting and posting, tell your friends to pull up.

05:57We have used and abused our natural environment.

06:18And climate change needs to be at the forefront of our minds and our mission.

06:24Because we are not going to survive without this planet.

06:28The time for real, meaningful, revolutionary action is now.

07:15I come from a black woman who came from a black woman.

07:18I'm going to give birth to a black woman.

07:19We're impeccable.

07:20We're special.

07:21And the world is going to have to deal with that.
