00:07In January 2021, an anonymous Instagram user shared screenshots of messages

00:11referencing cannibalism and sexual dominance that Hammer allegedly sent several women.

00:16Two months later, she went public and accused Hammer of sexual assault in a press conference.

00:20Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours.

00:26Two more of Hammer's ex-girlfriends brought forward more allegations of sexual misconduct.

00:30In a new interview with Airmail, the actor denied all criminal wrongdoing,

00:34but admitted to being emotionally abusive with former partners.

00:37Hammer said he and his first accuser had engaged in consensual non-consent,

00:41a sexual practice that mimics forced activity.

00:44Quote, Every single thing was discussed beforehand.

00:46I have never thrust this on someone unexpectedly. Never, he explained.

00:50Hammer said that power dynamics affected many of his relationships and that he

00:53should have considered how age gaps and his fame affected consent.

00:56Hammer added that after the accusations were made,

00:59he experienced suicidal ideations while quarantining in the Cayman Islands, saying,

01:03quote, I just walked out into the ocean and swam out as far as I could and hoped that either I

01:07drowned or was hit by a boat or eaten by a shark. Then I realized that my kids were still on shore

01:12and that I couldn't do that to my kids. Hammer also told Airmail that his interest in BDSM

01:17originates from being sexually abused by his youth pastor at the age of 13.

01:21Quote, Sexuality was introduced to me in a scary way where I had no control, he said.

01:25My interest then went to, I want to have control in the situation sexually.
