00:08and the suspect is dead from what we believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:13A gunman shot and killed six people in a Virginia Walmart break room. The suspect,

00:17according to AP, was a Walmart manager at the store.

00:21Our 911 dispatch center received the first call at 10 12 p.m. last night.

00:25The first officers arrived on scene within two minutes at 10 14 and entered the store

00:32approximately two minutes later at 10 16. The first responding officers entered the store

00:40and the scene was declared safe by 11 20 p.m.

00:43The Chesapeake City Chief of Police did not give a clear motive for the shooting at the

00:47time of the press conference. This latest shooting marks the seventh mass shooting

00:51in the past seven days and comes just days after the U.S. recorded its 600th mass shooting this year.
