“Zoey 101” sequel movie announced by Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon announced that the "Zoey 101" series  is returning to screens in a movie sequel, with the original cast.

00:04a Zoey 101 sequel film currently titled Zoey 102. Jamie Lynn Spears touted the series on

00:10Instagram saying quote, it's official, are you ready? Based on the original 2005 series,

00:15Zoey 102 will reunite the PCA alumni as they get together for a wedding in the present day.

00:20Spears will reprise her role as will other original cast members Aaron Sanders, Sean Flynn,

00:25Matthew Underwood, Christopher Massey, Abby Wilde, and Jack Salvatore. Notable characters

00:29not in the announcement however include Victoria Justice, Paul Butcher, and Austin Butler. Also

00:34missing is Alexa Nicholas who has publicly protested against Nickelodeon's treatment of

00:38child actors. Production is currently underway in North Carolina with a premiere date scheduled

00:42for later this year exclusively on Paramount+.
