Blake Shelton says goodbye to “The Voice”

Blake Shelton has officially said goodbye to “The Voice.”

00:00After 23 seasons, Blake Shelton has bid farewell to The Voice. The country singer,

00:04who has been a coach on the singing competition since its start in 2011,

00:08commemorated his last taping of the show with a post on Instagram, thanking the crew,

00:12coaches, contestants, fans, and more.

00:14Quote, when we signed up for season one, I don't think any of us knew what this was going to be,

00:18Shelton wrote. These past 12 years, I have made lifelong friends and memories. One of those

00:22lifelong friends is fellow coach Gwen Stefani, whom Shelton met in 2014 and married in 2021.

00:28He also expressed appreciation for all of the singers he has mentored throughout 445 episodes.

00:34Quote, I've had the great opportunity to coach some really talented artists,

00:37nine who have taken home Team Blake wins, he wrote.

00:40Some of those artists even returned to The Voice stage during last night's season 23 finale for a

00:45performance of Green Day's Good Riddance, Time of Your Life, which they dedicated to Shelton.

00:49NBC announced that Reba McEntire will be one of the coaches for season 24,

00:53alongside Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Niall Horan.
