Husband arrested after Ana Walshe’s disappearance

Investigators are looking into the disappearance of Cohasset mother, Ana Walshe. Brian Walshe, her husband, has been arrested.

00:00While scouring through trash facilities, investigators found a hacksaw and blood-stained items that

00:04could be connected to the disappearance of 39-year-old Anna Walsh.

00:08Her husband is now in custody for misleading the police.

00:10Anna, a mother of three, has been missing since January 1st.

00:14She was reported missing by her husband and her employer on January 4th after she failed

00:19to show up for work.

00:20Her husband, Brian Walsh, 47, told police that he last saw his wife at their home early

00:25January 1st when she took a rideshare to the airport.

00:28However, police later discovered that she did not take a rideshare and missed her flight.

00:33Her phone also pinged at their home that night.

00:36Law enforcement has also found blood and a knife in the basement of their home and discovered

00:40Brian's internet history included searches for, how to dispose of a 115-pound woman's

00:45body and how to dismember a body.

00:48Brian was also seen on surveillance video at Home Depot buying $450 of cleaning supplies

00:52according to an affidavit.

00:54He is set to appear in court on February 9th.
