00:05solidarity with the LGBTQ plus community. The logo is featured at their training facility in Qatar as

00:10they prepare for next week's tournament. This is in response to same-sex relationships being deemed

00:14illegal in the host nation. Although the rainbow badge will not be worn by the team during World

00:18Cup games, it is being routinely displayed as a way to promote a spirit of inclusivity. The

00:22revised branding is a part of the Be the Change initiative the team adopted in 2020 with the goal

00:27of inspiring action on social justice issues. When we are on the world stage and we are in a

00:32venue like Qatar, it's important to to bring awareness to these issues and that's what Be

00:38the Change is about.
