00:00This man, armed with an AR-15, opened fire in the lobby of a substance abuse treatment clinic in Buffalo, New York.

00:06But the quick-acting security guard, Reynaldo Beckford, stepped in to prevent things from escalating further.

00:14Another guard eventually came through the back door to assist.

00:20The two were able to get the suspect outside.

00:24Beckford told local news that the gunman didn't take his finger off the trigger.

00:29Once the suspect was subdued on the ground,

00:31a civilian ran up and took the gun from the suspect while the others kept him pinned down.

00:37According to local reports, the 48-year-old suspect was taken into custody.

00:41He faces multiple charges.
