Chis D’Elia’s sexual misconduct allegations

Comedian Chris D’Elia is the subject of another wave of sexual misconduct allegations.

00:00Comedian Chris D'Elia is facing another set of sexual misconduct claims. Rolling Stone published

00:05a report of 10 women who accused him of predatory behavior, and four of them claimed they were

00:10teenagers when he preyed on them. Multiple women claim he used his fame to leverage his own sexual

00:15gratification, such as soliciting explicit photos or videos and making sexual demands over social

00:20media. Others explained that he micromanaged what they wore, monitored their locations and weight,

00:25imposed curfews, and even asked them to get his initials tattooed. D'Elia has generally

00:30denied the claims and questioned the credibility of some of the women who came forward.

00:34In 2020, D'Elia was accused of online sexual misconduct and in-person sexual harassment by

00:39numerous women, including some who were underage. The following year, he published a YouTube video

00:44admitting that he would use his familiarity to engage in sexual relationships with female fans,

00:49but that they were all consensual and legal. D'Elia revealed that he entered a rehabilitation

00:53facility for sex addiction last November.
