00:11than 60 seconds. A former federal judge appointed by the NFL and the NFL Players Association has

00:18suspended Watson for six games for violating the league's personal conduct policy. But the

00:23suspension could be longer if the NFL or the NFLPA files an appeal, which they have three days to do.

00:29According to multiple reports, the NFL was initially seeking a full season and post-season

00:35suspension for Watson. But at the time of publishing this video, the league had not

00:39yet decided whether or not it was going to file an appeal. And if it does appeal the ruling,

00:44the final decision would be handed off to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell or his designee.

00:48If the six-game suspension stands, Watson will only lose $345,000 out of his $230 million five-year

00:57contract.
