01:42But I gotta admit, this year feels more dire than any of the other two years where they

01:49overcame a slump, let's say, in the middle of the season and got rolling by the end of

01:53it.

01:54So, more it feels like going on with this team.

01:57And it may be injuries, but there's an attitude that appears to be missing, too, with this

02:03team.

02:09I think him not having, like, Stiney, there are two culprits on this offensive line that

02:14you could make an argument need to be replaced.

02:17So are you gonna go into an offseason, let's just say they don't make it?

02:20I feel like any draft, the first pick for the Niners team, and I don't care if you feel

02:24like there's not a guy worthy or guys, you need to bolster this offensive line.

02:29And I know we got Jesse Sapolo coming on at 11.

02:32I want his take on just how much this group is the cause of maybe some of what we think

02:40is regression from Brock.

02:42Well, he's the perfect guy to ask.

02:46There's no doubt about it.

02:47And I wonder if Jesse from afar looks at the 49ers and thinks like some fans do, they don't

02:53put enough emphasis on the offensive line.

04:31I don't know what it is, but I just want to know how desperate 49ers feel right now, 49er

04:38fans feel right now about this team, and whether you really believe, I mean, do you really

04:44believe they're going to get this thing done, and by get this thing done, I'll just put

04:48it this way, win the division.

04:51Do you really think this team is going to win the division and is capable of winning

05:02If he's correct, and in his world it sounds like he don't give a damn about any injury,

05:08If he believes this is the most underachieving team under Kyle, Stony, do you think the brass

05:20last five years, could one underachieving season and him just having a bad coaching

05:25year cost him his gig?

06:24What the 49ers have been terrible at this year is playing with injuries.

06:31They've been terrible at playing when guys get hurt.

06:35Every team's got to deal with it in some way.

06:37I'm going to say something to you, and I'll be consistent in this by any means.

06:41People is no shot at Jawan Jennings.

06:44But when I play the San Francisco 49ers and you're telling me McCaffrey's on the field

06:48the last two games, you got Debo Samuel, who I'm paying twenty eight and a half.

06:53And I got George Kittle, Stani, the one constant has been Jawan Jennings.

06:59And I'm saying that he's doing great.

07:03But when it's all said and done, he is not Justin Jefferson.

07:07He's not the guy you want to be shining the most on your offense.

07:13And I believe that's a byproduct of, hey, if you want Guru to beat you, we'll take that

07:19if we can stop Evan and Stani.

07:21And it seems like that's what's happening.

07:23And Jennings has been phenomenal.

07:25But Stani, he's not the most dynamic playmaker on this team.

07:30And now you look around, not blaming J.J. on the red zone issues.

07:34And what we saw yesterday with Seattle, who probably were popping bubbly, that Jawan almost

07:39had 100 yards, but we shut down Debo McCaffrey.

07:43We kept him in check.

07:45And I don't know if that's a Kyle issue.

07:48I don't either.

07:49Maybe McCaffrey's lost the step.

07:51I don't believe that.

07:53I believe they're gang tackling him.

07:54So what about McCaffrey maybe lost the step?

07:57Trent Williams has lost the step.

09:10And actually what we need to do is make incremental common sense changes that everyone's talking

09:16Like Kyle is out here drafting a kicker in the third round.

09:19No more counterintuitive stuff from Kyle that gets the benefit of the doubt.

09:23That's an incremental change.

09:25We got to fix the old line and it's time to see who Trent Williams is.

09:30I think Greg Cassell came on Willard and Dibbs and told us, he's lost his step, you're totally

09:35right about that, guys.

09:36We need to take the offensive line seriously.

09:38Now the most important thing, the counterintuitive thing that would actually allow the media

09:44to save this team from its fan base that wants to fire our incredible coach.

09:50The thing that needs to change is we all have to be on the same page and say, Brock, you

09:56are not worth the max.

09:59I don't care what the stats say.

10:00It's the same thing that everyone's telling me about how Jordan Mason had all these fantastic

10:04yards and this great stat.

10:06Yeah, well he fumbled very close to the end zone and we're 5-5.

10:10So I really don't care about Brock's stats.

10:13I don't care about where all the advanced stats tell me.

10:17I can see with my eyes that that young man is a product of a system that's run by an

10:21incredible coach and no one else is going to pay him back money.
