00:06country, taking on number 6 Notre Dame inside a baseball

00:10stadium up in the Bronx. That's Yankee Stadium and the Black

00:14Knights are more than a two touchdown dog against sixth

00:18ranked Notre Dame. Yet another step up spot, Joe, for a team

00:22that is taking advantage of an easy schedule, has hammered

00:26every team standing in its way and yet is expected to get

00:31served a dose of reality on our second to final Saturday of

00:36this season. Notre Dame has been darn good this year outside

00:39of the Northern Illinois game or against Mac opponents. Notre

00:43Dame is 9-1, but 7-0-1 against the spread against non-Mac

00:50foes. Will this game be competitive up in the Bronx

00:53tomorrow night? Didn't we just see this game last month? Oh

00:59yeah, it was called Notre Dame versus Navy and that didn't

01:03work out all that well. But I'll give you, listen, Marcus

01:07Freeman now, three seasons in South Bend, right? You know,

01:11he's lost as a 14 or more point favorite three times. Notre

01:16Dame, going back to 1998 before he took over, hadn't lost three

01:21games of any magnitude at any size going all the way back. So

01:26he can ill afford to lose this game against Army. I don't

01:29think he will. Top 25 versus top 25, Ben, at this point, when

01:34you got a line that's 14 or more, we have seen favorites

01:38dominate 65-43-2 against the number. I just think there's a

01:43level to this. Great season by Army, much like Navy was when

01:47they played them. Great season. But you are not going to beat

01:51Notre Dame in this game and Notre Dame will step all over

01:55you on the way to doing it. I think Notre Dame, it's easy

01:59play for me. I'll lay the points. I think it's a

02:02bloodbath. However, the biggest distinction between the cadets

02:07and the midshipmen is that Army's defense is much better

02:10than that of the Naval Academy at any point this year. Navy

02:14has always struggled to defend the run, which is slightly

02:17ironic, given the fact they probably only see the run in

02:21practice. Army is tied for the best scoring defense in the

02:24country alongside Ohio State, allowing just 10.3 points per

02:28game, third best rushing defense in the country. Now,

02:31Notre Dame is darn good as well, and we have just talked

02:35about what the Irish has done against non-MAC opponents this

02:39season. I don't love Army keeping this game within the

02:42number, but that is the biggest difference for the Black Knights

02:45and the Mids. The fact that Army is so much better

02:48defensively than Navy has been at any point this year.
