00:00Now, looking ahead for the Steelers, because that's the next question, they fall short

00:07to primetime yet again.

00:09A lot of people were curious, can they rise to the occasion and make a postseason appearance?

00:14More importantly, can they go a little further in the postseason?

00:17Always a great defense.

00:18Sometimes they just have these offensive issues that are their shortcomings year after year

00:22after year.

00:23Coming up, they've got the Bengals, then they got the Browns again, as mentioned on December

00:278th.

00:28And they've got the Eagles, the Ravens, the Chiefs, and then the Bengals again.

00:31You're talking about a team that could potentially be really up against the ropes when it comes

00:35to the competition to close out the regular season.

00:38So what do you make of the rest of the season for the Steelers?

00:41And can they hold a spot in the AFC North at the top?

00:45Certainly tough.

00:46That's why I said on the pregame show, this is a big game for the Steelers because they

00:50know that the Ravens are playing at the Chargers this weekend.

00:53That's not an easy matchup for the Ravens.

00:56I would say this coin flip game we can maybe get into if we have enough time for the previews.

01:00That's a bit of a coin flip game.

01:01If the Ravens lose that game, I wouldn't be shocked.

01:04So this was an opportunity for the Steelers to, again, like I said on the pregame show,

01:08get a little bit of breathing room and standings because they do have another game against

01:11the Ravens.

01:12And if the Ravens win that, then the head-to-head tiebreaker is one-to-one, and then it comes

01:18down to the division record.

01:19So the division games are now going to be vital for the Steelers because ultimately,

01:23I expect the Ravens, who are a better team compared to the Steelers, to bounce back in

01:27that second matchup and come away with the win.

01:29So these next few matchups against the Bengals and then the Browns, again, these are like

01:33really, really important games because if it gets to the point late in the season, it

01:37may not matter if the Steelers pick up a win because they're going to be so behind in terms

01:41of the division.

01:42And then other teams in the AFC, like the Chargers, are going to be fighting for a wild

01:47card spot.

01:48Like, we see the Bills are going to be locking down their spot, and then the Chiefs are going

01:52to be at number two.

01:53Whatever it might be.

01:54So the AFC wild card picture is going to be extremely close, and the next three weeks

01:58for the Steelers are vital.
