00:07and number two, Ohio State would be considered a game of the year

00:12before the season got started. Credit to you. And here it is

00:17this Saturday afternoon, noon Eastern Time kick in Columbus,

00:22Ohio, inside the shoe. Number two, Ohio State, number five,

00:27Indiana, and yet, you know, a 13 and a half point spread in

00:32favor of the Buckeyes total stands at 51 and a half. There

00:36are so many different ways to approach this game, its

00:40significance for a Big 10 championship race, its

00:43significance, of course, first and foremost, for the college

00:47football playoff in what a loss would do to Indiana's resume. So

00:52here is how I'm going to ask you the question marks, you know, if

00:56Indiana covers the number, will it change at all how you view

01:01this Hoosiers foot Hoosiers football season in the

01:04legitimacy of Indiana's candidacy for the college

01:07football playoff?

01:09Well, there's a difference between cover the number and

01:11have a chance to win the game and cover the number. Yeah, they

01:14can backdoor this thing here from a 20 point spread to a seven

01:17point spread a 20 point game rather to a to a 14 point game

01:21and get within the number you followed him saying they're like

01:24it's not impossible for them to cover the number. But having a

01:27chance to win the game is really what this metric is all about.

01:30And how we're going to judge Indiana do they have a chance to

01:33win the game in the second half? Do they have a chance to take a

01:35lead in the second half? If those answers are no, then guess

01:38what really is irrelevant whether Ohio State covers the

01:42spread or not. Indiana was never really in the game. And I don't

01:45think they will be in the game. I mean, I jumped on this earlier

01:47in the week, I got minus 12 and a half and I have very little

01:49hesitation about that number and it being wrong. I mean, the

01:54last 14 times a top five undefeated team has been a

01:57double digit underdog. They are oh and 14 straight up and five

02:02and nine against the number. In fact, this is the seventh

02:04consecutive season where a team 10 or no or better has been a

02:07double digit underdog including bowl games because last year, it

02:11was Florida State, five of the last six have all lost. And all

02:15five losers scored 10 points or less in that game. Indiana is

02:19going to get steamrolled on Saturday.
