Danny Mills expects that Manchester United to challenge for Europa League qualification under Ruben Amorim

00:00The appointment of Ruud Manmarijn is a good one. I think you have to look at the people

00:04involved. Obviously Dan Ashworth hasn't got too many decisions wrong as a sporting technical

00:11director. That recruitment now will be taken care of in terms of managers, coaches and

00:16players but that takes time. I think this season they still need to be successful. He

00:22needs to hit the ground running. European football and I'm talking Europa League is

00:28probably mandatory. He's got to be in a European competition next year. They don't want to

00:32be in the Conference League without being disrespectful. Third tier European football

00:40is not really good enough for Manchester United. It's got to be Europa League or Champions

00:44League. I think Europa League is certainly very achievable and if they don't make it

00:52into the Europa League places it will be a huge disappointment because there are still

00:55some very good players at that football club. But they've got to aim for the Champions

00:59League and try and get into that top four. That's going to take some good coaching, a

01:05big turnaround and a massive slice of luck perhaps.
