01:11the courage it takes to bring new perspectives to the screen and the

01:15importance of this representation. Thank you to our director Jaco Dior for bringing

01:20Emilia Pérez to life and for knowing that these women each deserve their

01:24freedom their truth and most importantly control over their lives like all women

01:29do. It's an outrageous idea to deliver that message in a crime thriller musical

01:34about a cartel kingpin and it was a dream to work with this cast these women

01:41this crew and to sing the word vaginoplasty. May our world continue to

01:48open its eyes to how beautiful life can be when we're all really being seen.

02:54others. As an actress I have been fortunate to bring complex and bold

03:00characters to the screen and Emilia's story is one of the strongest

03:06transformation. My hope is that true films like this we continue to see the

03:12world through different eyes embracing diversity identities and stories. Thank

03:19you and to everyone who believes in the power of true and apologetics

03:25representation. I think I read really good with this. I need one for my house.

03:52Being a part of Emilia Perez has been such a meaningful experience for me and

03:58I'm so so proud of what we've created together. It's an incredible to see a

04:03story that celebrates resilience and the importance of understanding who we are

04:08at our core. As women in this industry we have the opportunity and responsibility

04:15to uplift each other and tell stories that go beyond the surface. So so

04:21grateful for Zoe and Carla. You guys have changed my life. The team behind the

04:26scenes which is just as crucial as what we do and have worked their asses off so

04:33I want to thank our amazing crew and of course Jack Odiard. Everyone who
