01:29we begin to shift our focus to the upcoming game but we also sprinkle in the stuff that we haven't

01:34gotten to um for most of the week and i i gotta ask you um i'm here for you just where the golden

01:43state warriors played monday against the clippers they got beat 102 99 i think is that what it was

01:49lost by three yeah 112 109 maybe shoot it doesn't matter they lost by three points

01:54uh tonight they got the hawks uh what are you thinking about these days for the golden state

02:00warriors uh i'll i'll take a page out of the niners playbook stony the red cross i don't like

02:07that they identified deanthony melton as the guy that was going to start for the foreseeable future

02:12and i know he can't control getting hurt but man i don't know when he's coming back and i'm looking

02:18at pods and i don't know you tell me if you heard from coach and vallejo because pods is struggling

02:22right now but he was the ideal backup point guard on this team and i think they're missing that and

02:30pods has got to get it together stony and i know you tell me what you think if it was mass gate but

02:35you know the last couple of games there's been no mask but 18 from 338 from the field like yikes

02:42that's got to improve and if he were here right now pods i'd tell him well melton's out right now

02:47with the acl issue you know that that's not a sprained ankle so stony there's got to be some

02:53urgency for them to get him to get back to what he was last year but other than that 10 and 3 i'll

02:59take it i i didn't like cominga not playing the last eight minutes of of the last game because i

03:05thought his athleticism stun he was finishing with his right left off glass but there were some

03:10turnovers but you got to make your free throws and i don't know if you have that early on is

03:15how serious you take the warriors free throw issue uh situation because to me i'm like damn

03:21last but if you're gonna win or be a score you got to make your free throws i'm not worried okay

03:27about why free throw shoot why because i told evan today this is my belief there's no such thing

03:34as a bad free throw shooting team well the numbers say there's no such thing as a bad free throw

03:39shooting team there are bad free throw shooters on a team but the warriors are sitting with steph

03:45curry they're sitting with buddy healed steph only going three times a game early on yeah and you

03:50know if he if he shoots six a game they're probably not in last place anymore but no i'm not worried

03:57about their free throw shooting as long the the problem they're having right now with free throws

04:03mainly three guys and that's cominga 60 he's only shooting 60 he shot 75 last year

04:10there's a there's actually only one guy on the team that worries me too two guys that worry me

04:15a little bit on the team give him two one is pods because he didn't shoot the ball well from the

04:18line last year and the second is trace jackson davis that's the one that i'm worried about

04:24because if if opposing teams feel like he's not a great free throw shooter they're gonna start

04:31kind of taking his head off in there and and then if he steps to the line and only can make one out

04:36of two then i think that's where you get yourself into trouble but i'm not i'm not overly concerned

04:43about the free throw shooting right now i i'm more interested at this point in do you think

04:54there's something starting to go on with draymond green well that's interesting you say that because

04:59i was out yesterday at the doctor's donnie and i'm just sitting there all day basically in the

05:04waiting room and i'm like i didn't see what happened friday in regard to draymond's holding

05:11up the ankle and i've given him all the accolades that he deserves with this play uh with his

05:18microphone game because he's been second to none and this is a great draymond green but when i

05:23heard the bombshell this morning what i deem bombshell on his podcast and i think we got the

05:28sound stony where he feels like you know what the nba ratings are low and they need him that's when

05:35i'm stealing the page out of your playbooks that i went ah like do you wanna everything's going good

05:43do you want to say that to the masses well that your name is not that it's not but that you have

05:49that gravitas to and like dray is bigger than than you not being in the news you know well on friday

05:55the warriors beat the memphis grizzlies and zach edy and and draymond got tangled up in the back

06:01court and it wasn't dissimilar from what happened with draymond and sabonis exactly um and draymond

06:09grabbed his leg from behind on the uh on the the night of the game he was charged with just a foul

06:17and then after the game it was upgraded to a flagrant one and then of course he got thrown

06:24out of the game on friday but it wasn't for anything he did with with zach edy okay he had

06:30a technical earl in the game and then the edy play happened which was just a foul and then he got a

06:36second tee late in that game and that was john with the ref yeah and that's where he that's where

06:41he uh ended up being ejected all right so then then what happens well then draymond uh does a

06:49podcast and says this about the memphis grizzlies and their coach you got janky taylor jenkins uh-oh

06:57who's a softy bro this game 11 you run into the media crying about a foul that come on bro so

07:04guess what you just taught your 7-3 rookie how to be emotional and run to the media talking about a

07:09foul we big we big man you don't run into the media talking about a foul you a big man he's

07:15supposed to protect john moran you send him up to where john moran gonna be to protect him he's

07:20big enough to possibly have food people that he could be a little tough and now nobody believe

07:25you now joel limby gonna like try to put his chest into the stanchion just to see like huh yeah i think

07:36breeding these soft dudes man stop making these guys turn out to be snitches and soft and going

08:02about the breeding aspect a component of and i haven't heard eddie if he went to the media like

08:08the coach has he he's zach eddie said it was not a basketball play okay all right but dray's i i i

08:15get goosebumps hearing that stony why i because i don't know and i wonder if that's part of being

08:23soft by going to the media and you being a big and you having to be the protector of job and i'm not

08:30saying eddie's soft but hearing a guy that plays this game the way dray does i kind of like oh my

08:37goodness i feel like i'm in a corporate board room and he's at the white board and i'm like

08:42that makes sense dray oh so so he can run to he laughs at people who run to the media to snitch

08:49but he goes on to his own podcast after every game well and tells the nba story according

08:55to draymond green my question is are we honored are we back on the slippery slope with draymond

09:03green well i'll say this to that i i see where you're coming from but i guess taylor had talked

09:10about possibly getting you know there being some repercussions so now draymond i feel like stony

09:16on this podcast he could talk about whatever he wants and he does but i feel like now you're

09:21trying to get me to miss games you're trying to not have me there and you're campaigning so that's

09:27why he took issue with it well i mean but the play was he did have his ankle try let it go

09:33because they're saying what if he would have blew out his achilles i mean taylor jenkins is doing

09:38nothing different than steve kerr would do for one of his players which is stick up for him
