The government has taken proactive steps in dealing with the issue of retardation and depression experienced by the children of GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) who are in the recovery period.  Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said all the children involved  are now under the protection of the authorities. 00:00Yesterday, the Sasdangwan Minister said that 26.8% of the children were affected by JSBH.

00:08Yes, actually, ever since when they came in, they went through the medical check-up first.

00:29The counsellors were already there, and KKM was also there.

01:18So, the GISB case is not just about helping, but there is also corruption.

01:37That's why, before the case was brought to the court,

01:44we were allowed to protect them or send them back.

01:49That's why we need to get them to go through the medical examination.
