John Stamos is showing solidarity with his friend and former TV castmate Dave Coulier during his battle with an aggressive cancer, but some people online are taking issue with his method ... calling him insufficiently committed to the cause.

00:06John Stamos, which oddly has turned into a backlash against John Stamos.

00:12So as you can see, John went over to Dave's house to help shave his head.

00:18You know, I think he said he's already started chemotherapy.

00:21He has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

00:24But John Stamos, you see, he didn't shave his head.

00:27He has a bald cap on.

00:28I think that was the backlash, but that seems like a friendly thing that John's doing, right?

00:34Well, and obviously, Dave saw this before they started shipping it.

01:07And he had to come out and defend John.

01:10But listen, as ridiculous as I think any backlash is to this, John could have just avoided this

01:15completely by not posting on social media.

01:19Anytime you post on social media, you're going to be subject to criticism.

01:23He could have also just done this nice gesture, not posted it at all, and no one would have

01:28thought anything of it, because then he presented it to everyone, and boom, he gets backlash.
