Jay Leno's such a badass, he did a comedy gig with an eye patch, a black eye, a bandaged wrist and a swollen face ... after taking a nasty fall near his hotel.

00:17The restaurant was there, but to get to it, I didn't have a car, so you had to go walk

00:23about a mile and a half around.

00:25And I said, well, the hill doesn't look that steep, it's about 60, 70 feet.

00:29Let me see if I can go down the hill.

00:32And then I fell down the hill.

00:33Boom, boom, boom.

00:34So you rolled down the hill?

00:35I rolled down the hill.

00:36Hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye.

00:38Did you have to go to the hospital?

00:39Well, I did the show, and then when I came back to L.A., I went to the hospital.

00:49Well, it was only a couple hours before the show.

00:53So can I ask you, you know, you haven't, you know, skipped a beat when it comes to performing.

01:01Why did you decide to still go on with the show instead of just dancing?

01:04Well, because you have 20, I think you had 2,600 people.
