00:00Joe, we've got an absolute banger of a marquee matchup on this Tuesday in Beantown.

00:06It's the reigning NBA champs in the favorites to win the NBA Cup and the NBA Championship

00:11this year, the Boston Celtics, who, oh, by the way, are still 11-3 against the undefeated

00:18Cleveland Cavaliers.

00:19A perfect 15-0 beginning to this 2024-25 season, the fourth ever 15-0 start in history of the

00:28NBA.

00:29So, a marquee matchup on night number three of the NBA Cup inside TD Garden that sees

00:37the Celtics as a five-and-a-half point home favorite and a total of 236.

00:43A couple of trends from my perspective, perfect 15-0 start for the Cavs.

00:48They have been an underdog only twice.

00:50Of course, they have won outright in both of those games as a dog.

00:54The Celtics, 11-3 straight up this year, a favorite in all 14 games.

01:00Joe, so favored to do everything this year, the Celtics, they have been not only booked

01:04as a favorite in all 14 NBA games this year for Boston, they've only been a single-digit

01:11favorite five times out of those 14 games, often laying double digits.

01:17They're three-and-two against the number in those five games, laying only a single digit.

01:23A marquee matchup tonight in Beantown.

01:26What do you like?

01:29It's kind of hard not to be totally impressed with what Cleveland is doing.

01:35But at the same time, Ben, can we all just agree that quietly what Cleveland is doing

01:40is how you build dynasties.

01:43When you guys take into consideration what they signed over the last year, they come

01:49in and bring in a new head coach, plenty of success during a regular season.

01:54It was nothing to complain about for Cleveland during a regular season.

01:56They would fall apart during the playoffs.

01:59So what did they do?

02:00They went out and extended Mobley, Donovan Mitchell, Isaac Okoro, Jared Allen.

02:06These guys are all signed for the next five years.

02:11Now you got Darius Garland and Max Struess under the next three years under team control.

02:16That is how you build championships here, Ben.

02:20It's no surprise to me that they're having this kind of start, because these guys have

02:24already been together for how long?

02:26It's the same thing with Boston.

02:28What's going to win this game is going to be who is better at shooting the rock from

02:33three.

02:34And ultimately right now, I don't think anybody is better than Cleveland, 42% from deep.

02:40And that is impressive.

02:41Will the defense of Boston be able to do something?

02:45They're allowing just 33% from three this year.

02:48To me, that's what this is all about.

02:50If the Boston defense beats the Cleveland Cavaliers three-point shooting, Boston will

02:56win.

02:57If they don't, Boston gets run out of the gym tonight.
