Broadcut Farm controversial planning application

A controversial planning application to build home at Broadcut Farm in Wakefield has been submitted by developers AAA.

00:09The area, which is called Calder Grove, is near the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and it's

00:15a popular place for people to come on walks by the canal side, as well as locals who now

00:21fear that their land could be transforming into what they believe is akin to a factory

00:29hellhole.

00:32Developers have now put in a proposal to transform the land into a business park containing factories

00:40as well as 100 houses.

00:43Triple A Property Group, who put in the proposal, have said that they have consulted the public.

00:50However, locals have since set up Broadcourt Against Development to campaign against proposals.
