00:00So for the average college football fan who is looking at the point spreads this week,

00:07they're like, hold on a second here, Georgia, nine and a half point favorites against the

00:12Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee's ranked sixth, Georgia's ranked 11th.

00:16The Bulldogs are not playing well.

00:18The Bulldogs quarterback is not playing well, but the key here has got to be the quarterback

00:22for the Volunteers.

00:23Niko Amayaleva, he is in concussion protocol.

00:26I would guess, Bill, you'd have to tell me that the line would probably be what, Georgia

00:30minus three or four would be my guess if he was playing.

00:34This line is telling me he is not.

00:36Yeah.

00:37If Niko Amayaleva was playing, I think it would be four or five.

00:41And so it continues to swell up.

00:43Now, a factor in that, Craig, though, is this series hasn't been competitive.

00:47Even when Tennessee was number two in the country a few years ago, Georgia beat them

00:51at home convincingly and up front.

00:53So I think the key for Tennessee, regardless of who plays quarterback, is getting the ball

00:59to Dylan Sampson as much as possible.

01:02They haven't lost when he's had 25 or more carries in a game.

01:05When he was against Arkansas, he had like 22.

01:08They've got to ground it out.

01:09And honestly, like we were talking about, Carson Beck and Georgia will probably ground

01:13it out a little bit in this game.

01:14It could be a grimy run, who runs the ball better, stops the run better.

01:19I like Georgia at home.

01:20I told you I haven't picked their big games right all season.

01:24I missed Alabama.

01:25I missed Texas.

01:26I missed Ole Miss.

01:27But I think they win this game at home.

01:30But there is a chance for Tennessee to cover if they get that running game going, even

01:34if Niko is out.

01:35Yeah.

01:36And if Tennessee wins, that's, I would think, the end of Georgia's campaign to get into

01:39the playoff.

01:40That's a hard sell at that point.

01:42The odds to make the college football playoff with Georgia, all they have to do is basically

01:46win this week, I think.

01:47It's pretty smooth from there.

01:48That's why they're minus 500.

01:50Georgia 350, Ole Miss 350, Tennessee minus 340.

01:54That's telling you, right there, minimum four teams out of the top 12 probably going to

01:59be in the SEC.

02:00And then you have your Notre Dame Fighting Irish right there at minus 310.

02:04So yeah, I mean, I think that's all fair.

02:06I don't see anything that really stands out, Bill.

02:08And I'm not a minus 300 better either.

02:10Right.

02:11And if you're going to jump on any of those teams, to me, the two safest bets right now

02:14are probably Alabama, whose remaining schedule is Mercer, Oklahoma, road trip there, and

02:20then the Iron Bowl, which is at home.

02:23So I think they get to 10 wins and get in, and probably even have a chance at hosting

02:27a home game.

02:28And then Ole Miss, who is on a bye week.

02:30Their last two are Florida and the Egg Bowl.

02:33With that victory against Georgia, they look good for 10 wins.

02:36So I think those are the two that it would be hard to push out.

02:40But that Tennessee-Georgia game is going to be determined basically, one, who gets

02:44in, and then the loser, like you said, Georgia out.

02:48If Tennessee loses, watch the campaign against Indiana and Notre Dame.

02:52They're going to come after them because the SEC really is going to try to squeeze five

02:56teams into the playoff.
